The growing demand to participate makes more evident the need to search in the work that changes the organisation paradigms that allow for a vision of the development of human resources, which can no longer be circumscribed within purely organisational models, decided in an authoritarian or bureaucratic way.

In order to create opportunities for participatory and decisive citizenship, the Institute aims to contribute towards defining the model of health and social security, and well-being, capable of interacting with the new work organisation, following the "high road" of development.

This model can constitute the basis for the reorganisation in the field of the socio-economic development sectors and exert an influence upon the social organisation itself, even within a European dimension.
