The problem of employment and the quality of work is now being dealt with, also by the European Union, on a territorial level, in that it is linked to the dynamics of local development and to territorial policies.

The Institute intends to contribute to promoting local development initiatives for the creation of new employment, qualified and innovative jobs. This objective will be integrated with those of competitive growth, environmental sustainability, gender equilibrium. For this reason as well the initiatives will be carried forward not only with the local bodies and organisations, but also with other public organisations.
