Services
The Library of the Institute for Labour is equipped with an internet piont for the consultation of the catalogue
and online resources. Staff is available to provide assistance for bibliographic research.
Consultation
On the local network the following are available for consultation:
- full text articles from the main Italian and international newspapers and periodicals regarding the economy, sustainable development, and the automobile and telecomunications industries.
- a collection of articles on the FIAT crisis between October 2002 and June 2003.
Lending Services
Outside lending is available for all materials except for periodicals and reserved materials. Loans last for 15 days, and are renewable as long as the materials are not requested internally. If the documents requested are not available in the Library, information regarding where to find those materials in other libraries or centers of documentation will be given. An
inter-library loan request can also be made by the Institute's library.
Copies
It is possible to make copies of the materials in the Library for personal use and study, within the limits of current copyright law. No more than 15% of each volume or periodical, excluding advertisements, may be copied. The 15% limit can be exceeded only if the user makes a written declaration that the requested material is out of print. A Document Delivery
service is also available on request for the other libraries and individual users. In this
case documents will be sent electronically.
